Summer Study Abroad in Amsterdam

You are invited to consider the following opportunity: Social Justice in the Netherlands, University of Amsterdam. This is reported to be a fantastic opportunity for students across campus, and has been a huge success in the past.

Tentative dates: Early July to early August 2009
Six IU credits in “Conflict Resolution” and “Social Policy in the Netherlands”
Directed by Leon Pettiway, IU Professor of Criminal Justice
Application deadline: February 2, 2009

Key points (from last year’s program):
• Live in the city’s center for one month on the University of Amsterdam campus
• Take two 3-credit courses (credits can be assigned to ANTH, CJUS, GNDR, POLS-Y, or SPEA per Overseas Studies web site)
• Two weekend excursions to other parts of the Netherlands
• Some scholarships and loans available
